Grandma Walker

For those who haven't heard our Grandma Walker passed away on Sunday evening, after not feeling good for many days. She was just shy of her 88th birthday. We want to write this blog to tell you about how wonderful she was. Darrell and I had the opportunity to help grandma out a couple times a week for the past 8 years. This opportunity gave us a chance to talk to her on many occasions about life, about what we were doing, what she has done, and things to look forward to. One of darrell's most favorite memories of grandma were the times they spent at the trailer, up the canyon, telling and hearing many stories, and playing some intense games of 5000. KJ's and I's best memories are the times we danced with her. Turning on the animals and plants that sang and dance and got our groove on. KJ has quite the moves thanks to Grandma Walker. We are grateful for the many memories we have of her, and will always charish them. What an example she has set for us through her service and love for others. She always thanked us for what we did to help her each week, but I don't think she fully new what she was doing for us. We love you Grandma Walker. You are very deserving to be home in the presence of our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ and our other loved ones who have gone before.

Handy Manny KJ

KJ is quite the handy manny. He constantly is getting out the tool to fix his bed, or the screwdriver to work on the carpet transition piece so tonight we took him out and bought a kids tool set and he is in heaven. Fixing what ever he can with his tools.

Nothing New just a cute boy.

Just wanted to share pictures of KJ. He found the floss and wanted to try and floss his teeth.

At meet the coaches night for Darrell's New School they gave us 4 new maple mountain hats. KJ decided he wanted to wear one just like mom and dad.

Big boy bed.

So KJ has constantly been wanting the rail of the crib off so he can get up and down as he pleases, so yesterday we just converted his crib to a toddler bed. He really thinks it is awesome because he can do things him self. He did really well at nap time, but last night he managed to fall out and it was just down hill from there. He now realized he can get out so he didn't want to sleep, finally I slid the crib over against the wall so he couldn't get out, and we all got some sleep. Needless to say I haven't changed the bed back, because he really is enjoying it, and he naps really well there, so hopefully overtime he will stay in bed and actually sleep. Here he is enjoying the bed.

I found him playing with his bear in his bedroom, when I came in I found this
