Merry Christmas!
Christmas day is here. What fun it has been so far. KJ got up at 7:30am and didn't even realize all the presents from santa until about 8am. We had a feast for breakfast with options of french toast, blueberry muffins, eggs, ham, sausage, and bacon. After breakfast we opened the gifts then played with them. Tonight is our first attempted at a turkey dinner that we made for the first time in 10 years by ourselves thanks to Darrell's work. We have also enjoyed christmas vacation with over 2 feet of snow, basketball with the family, and christmas eve at Grandma and Grandpa Mangums.

Footlocker Cross Country Championships
Well thanksgiving came and went, the snow came and went, then the footlocker cross country race arrived. Darrell and I travelled with 64 kids to California so they could race in the western regional race. We had a lot of fun, with many sleepless nights, lots of walking, standing, talking and cheering on. We had six kids medal this year and lots that just came to have fun. We enjoyed the beach, the day before the race, and disneyland after the race. Thanks to Rick and Andrea's family for watching KJ while we were gone. Now it is time for Christmas, we got our tree up, our lights up, and we made a fireplace to hang our stockings from so now we are ready for Santa to come.
