This November KJ started learning how to play basketball. Spanish Fork City does and 4 week program twice a week were they start teaching the skills before the get to league play. KJ has found a sport that he is natural at and really enjoys. This thanksgiving we went to Arizona and enjoyed time with Myndee and her family. What fun it was to relax and let KJ have others to play with. We enjoyed thanksgiving dinner with some extra food items, like subway sandwiches, mac and cheese and pizza. We even enjoyed the craziness of shopping that evening and standing in line forever. After spending 5 days in Arizona we enjoyed 3 days at home before hitting the road again and heading to California to play and see the cross country kids race at the Footlocker western regional's. It was great weather all but one morning, but we really enjoyed the beach where we played in the freezing water, ate at Ruby's on the pier, and road bicycles down the boardwalk trail. We enjoyed Disneyland for about 8 hours with short lines because of the rain earlier that morning and enjoyed shopping in the shops. Family is wonderful but we look forward to staying at home and enjoying the Christmas holiday together.
