Easter

Easter was a great time this year.  We enjoyed a Easter egg hunt with my side of the family and some visiting with treats.  We also enjoyed Sunday hearing about our Savior Jesus Christ.  KJ got up with the primary and sang I  Stand All Amazed and I Feel My Saviors Love. He did a great job.  Then we enjoyed our Easter baskets full of goodies. Also this weekend KJ and I enjoyed coaching and cheering on one of our athletes as she competed in the heptathlon at BYU.  She did a great job and ended up winning the whole thing. Her and KJ look a lot alike so everyone kept asking if they where brother and sister. Darrell enjoyed his time coaching the other athletes at the Utah county invite.  KJ is also participating in soccer this season.  He is starting to figure it out better. He loves playing more on the defensive side than trying to score goals.  I can't blame him that is where I liked to play to. We also are venturing a garden this year. So we started some seeds inside to see if we could get them to grow.  So far so good.  KJ gets so excited to see them growing and loves to water them.

Happy Birthday!

One year older is what I am.  This week we celebrated my 34th birthday and spring break.  Darrell says it is best when we have my birthday during spring break cause you get to celebrate all week.  These boys in my life definitely know how to make me feel special.  From the moment they got up until even the next morning they loved wishing me a happy birthday.  We enjoyed lunch at the wild mustang grill. It was excellent food. We went and saw Muppets Most Wanted, enjoyed cake and ice cream and present opening.  With it also being spring break we had track practice a couple days and KJ enjoyed working out with the kids, and we did some yard work.    We actually have a flower bed in the front yard which really looks good and changes the feel of the home.  Otherwise we enjoyed the lounging around, playing bochi and letting KJ play with friends.
