Happy 30th Birthday Darrell!!

Darrell turned 30 on Friday, and we celebrated big. Thanks to our 70 cross country kids Darrell had a surprise birthday party. They bought him gifts, cake, decorated the car, the sidewalk, and made him wear a birthday hat. They also sang to him about 50 times, but it was great.

We also got our team sweats, and had to buy some for KJ, he also decided he needed to try on the boys uniforms.

Our Little Golden Eagle

So we spend all our time at Darrell's school coaching or attending other activities, and KJ loves to be apart and hang out with all the kids. Well one day we brought home some clothing and he decided he needed to wear the golden eagle clothes also like mom and dad.

Happy Birthday KJ!!

Well KJ is know 2 years old. Boy has time gone by and he sure is getting big. Copying everything we say, learning new words constantly, and counting to 3. We had a great time celebrating his birthday. We took him swimming with his cousins, aunts, and uncles, then we ate KJ approved cupcakes, and opened presents. He loved the trains for the bath tub that Katelyn gave him, he loved the puzzle that made noises when you took out the pieces and put them back in from Grandma and Grandpa, and he loved the buzz and woody action figures he got from us. To show how big he is getting we kept asking him how old he was or going to be and he responded 2.

In other news we finally have a backyard and fence. Of course we can't be on it yet but it will be really nice when we can play on it.

4th of July

We had a fun 4th. We slept in a little then went to the parade in provo. KJ really loved everything that went by. He waved at everything and when the marching band from Darrells school went by KJ and darrell yelled over and over again go eagles. After the parade we enjoyed a hamburger at grandma mangums, then home for a nap, then some fireworks of our own. KJ wasn't a big fan of the noisy fireworks.

Party Fun!!

KJ had his first experience with the big blow up slides and bouncers. I would climb to the top then he would ride with me down or go all by himself on the smaller ones. He had a blast. Thanks katelyn Wyatt for a fun birthday party. KJ had fun, and I am sure looks forward to going back when he can climb the blow up slides all by himself.

We our finally settled and really enjoying our new home and space, and look forward to getting our backyard done so we will have lots of room to play outside. KJ has already made lots of friends. Of course they are all older then him. There our tons of boys on this street that have been really nice to play with him when he comes outside where they are. We are enjoying the whole mile and a half commute to Darrell's school, it is really nice with cross country starting up. We are now big Golden Eagle fans, as you will see from our cute pictures of KJ in his shirt.

We finally moved/ chocolate cake

Well we finally got moved this last week. We really love all the space to run around and play. thanks to all those that were able to help us. The house is pretty much in order, just a couple items here or there.

also KJ tasted his first chocolate cake. Grandma had some devils food cake that the ingredients were okay for KJ so we made it. He loved the batter more than anything else, and barely nibbled on the actual cake.

Future Chef/ Future Track Star

Mom and Dad have a kitchen set with food that KJ was really taken a liking to. So today for mothers day he cooked me breakfast, bacon and eggs. He is a great chef.

KJ has really enjoyed being at the track with all the kids. He has picked up some new skills one shown in this video how to run and use the baton. He also knows how to use the starting blocks. I haven't gotten a picture yet but hope to.
