33 Years and Soccer

Yep, I turned 33 and life is great.  KJ likes to call me old lady but I love the age I am.  I had a great birthday. I went to KJ's soccer game which is always fun for me to see him play a sport I love.  Then Darrell brought home a cake so I didn't have to make one. It was a snickers cake. He also brought home a dozen pink roses and  a precious moment.  I definitely feel loved my the two guys in my life.

Easter!

Happy Easter! Hope you enjoyed time with family and friends.  We have really enjoyed the spring like weather, soccer, and celebrating the Easter season and remembering our Savior Jesus Christ. We had an Easter egg hunt at grandma and grandpa Mangums, were we enjoyed good company and good food.  KJ has been learning how to play soccer and is on the Bulls of East Meadows. They are a very talented team this season.  It is fun to see him take interest in the sport and start to learn and develop in it.  Darrell is busy with track and field and continuing to love it, and I am enjoying cheering them both on.  I am grateful for Our Savior Jesus Christ in my daily life. I truly feel his love in all I do.  I am grateful that he died for us and lived again so that I can be with him again some day.

Valentines Week

So what do you when your husband is away during valentines day. You hang out with cousins, get flowers from your husband before he leaves, stop at toys r us and get KJ  a skylander, and plan with a 5 year old what to do for daddy when he returns from his trip.  We had a great day and week celebrating valentines day. Good thing it is all for fun and we love each other year around.  We also enjoyed the warm weather on presidents day and broke out the basketball hoop for some fun times.

January and February

Well time is going fast that is for sure.  Darrell and I celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed some time together while Rick and Andrea watched KJ. What fun it  is to see pictures of us 12 years ago and now 12 years later.  Darrell gave me some beautiful flowers and a precious moment to go along with our lunch and shopping.  What a fun day it was.  Next comes February which is now half over.  We really enjoyed some time with Uncle Don and Aunt Michelle when they came to stay for  a week.  KJ loved kicking butt on the wii.  Darrell also had an exciting event, when one of his athletes Jensen Williams signed  a letter of intent to run Track and Field at Utah State University. She has worked hard and we sure are proud of her.
