We also just found out that Summer his birthmother wants to be known as aunt summer because her and her husband are expecting a baby girl in a few weeks and she wants them to be known as cousins. So he will have his first Texas cousin.

Happy 1st Birthday!!
Today is KJ's Birthday. He is growing so big. He is quite the little monkey climbing on everything. He has no fear when it comes to climbing. We celebrated his birthday on Sunday with family because of the holiday yesterday and lots of people had vacation planned. Thanks to all that came it was lots of fun. KJ is really enjoying his gifts. As you will see from the pictures KJ is not big on sugar, he didn't get into the cake, he just picked at it. Yesterday KJ also has somewhat learned a new word. He says dinky dinky. Which to us must mean drink because he doesn't know what a binky is.
