June isn't over yet, but we have done lots of things already this month with more to come this week. So I figure I should blog before I have to much on one post. We went to the Orem parade. KJ had fun with his cousins and friends. He covered his ears when some of the loud things came by cause all the other kids did, not because they where to loud for him. He got lots of candy and fliers, and waved to uncle Doug.
We went to the family reunion at Grandma and Grandpas. KJ enjoyed kickball for the first time. He had know idea what to do so he ran around all over and kept picking up the ball. He enjoyed swimming, and definitely the bouncy houses. That is the one thing he really wants for this birthday next month. We drove around like maniacs doing a scavenger hunt. We played Minute to Win It. I did the cookie one where you put it on your forehead and try and get it to your mouth. I did it in 3.7 seconds. Sadie swung a yo-yo with her hips and tried to knock down cups, Quinten had to try and keep the balloons in the air for 60 seconds, James and Caden had to get a ping pong ball in a cup with a tap measure, and my dad can really shake his hips to get the ping pong balls out of a Kleenex box. It was priceless to see Grandpa attempt to shake his hips to get the balls out also.
While KJ and I went to the reunion Darrell went to Nebraska to let out his inner farmer boy. It was a brother invasion with Don who lives their, Doug and Darrell who drove their to play. He toured the farm Don works at, rode horse troughs down a river, ate at the fanciest restaurant in Broken Bow, and tried on cowboy hats. He had fun, but we are glad to have him home.
