Toilet Paper fun with Daddy

KJ still has a fascination for toilet paper. He always pulls it out from under the counter, so Darrell decided to be helpful and show him how to throw it down the stairs over and over again.

KJ is really enjoying books so I took this picture of him reading. He really loves to put his feet up in the air to help hold it.

Thank you Don and Mo for the new outfit. KJ looks styling in such bright colors and cute with his four teeth.

Riding Cowboy/ Beep Beep

About two weeks ago KJ hung out with his cousin Kaitlyn, she has a horse you can ride so KJ got on and rode it. Then on Saturday we went shopping and got the cart that has the car attached, so KJ went cruising down the isles at one point he even drove with one hand and his other one resting to his side. He must of got that from watching his dad drive. KJ is quite the monkey he has mastered climbing tables, couches and chairs. At Grandpa and Grandmas he even managed to grab the chair pull it over to what he wanted and climb up to get grandmas food on the table. He is quite the little character and full of lots of smiles.

Birthday Activities

First we started the day rocking out and dancing to They say it is your Birthday. Then we took him to build a bear. Where he picked out a black bear called dimple bear then he picked out the pirate pajamas for his bear to wear. He really enjoys cuddling with it. Hopefully it will be a better pick then my cabbage patch kid. We also enjoyed lunch at brick oven, there he ate pasta without sauce and oranges. They gave him a ballon while we were there that just made his day. Then he read his book given to him by Rick's family. He seemed to have a great day. He really liked the birthday song.

Happy 1st Birthday!!

Today is KJ's Birthday. He is growing so big. He is quite the little monkey climbing on everything. He has no fear when it comes to climbing. We celebrated his birthday on Sunday with family because of the holiday yesterday and lots of people had vacation planned. Thanks to all that came it was lots of fun. KJ is really enjoying his gifts. As you will see from the pictures KJ is not big on sugar, he didn't get into the cake, he just picked at it. Yesterday KJ also has somewhat learned a new word. He says dinky dinky. Which to us must mean drink because he doesn't know what a binky is.

We also just found out that Summer his birthmother wants to be known as aunt summer because her and her husband are expecting a baby girl in a few weeks and she wants them to be known as cousins. So he will have his first Texas cousin.

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July as a family. We attended the parade, barbaqued at grandma and grandpa's and went to the stadium of fire. KJ seemed to enjoy everything until he fell asleep during the parade, and he slept all through the fireworks at the stadium of fire. KJ even had his first sucker and really enjoyed it. We enjoyed our time together and with family.

Balloon's and Chilling

KJ is enjoying time with daddy around for the holiday since he has no classes this week. On tuesday he swam with his daddy and cousins. He really enjoys making big splashes and getting everyone wet.

This morning the family went to the Balloons in Provo. KJ's eyes got so big the instant we came around the corner and he first saw them. It was cool to see the balloons fill up and take off. Tomorrow we are going to enjoy the parade and Miley Cyrus at the Stadium of Fire.

KJ's other past time is chilling on the porch and watching everyone and everything around him. He also loves to use his feet to hold books or drinks that he is using.

KJ's Adventures

Hi, this is my first post. I thought you might enjoy a way were you can see what we are up to here in Utah. KJ is growing big. He is know 30 inches long, and 21 pounds, or as Darrell Likes to say he is 2 1/2 feet tall. He has this new look that he just started, and a great cheesy smile. KJ has enjoyed hanging out in the big swim pool every tuesday with his mom and cousins. He has also learned to clap, and is learning how to walk. (today he seems pretty adventurous to kind of try on his own) He is having a blast hanging out with others. He has really taken a liking to other kids, he loves to chase them and then have them chase him. His favorite words to say are mama, dada, up, and hi. He is such a joy to have around. We love him.
